Mark Danner, author of "Torture and trust: America, Abu Ghraib, and the war on terror" Is talking about his book, and the newly relaesed documents secured by the ACLU, memos form the administration debating what to do about the abuse,etc...
What does America mean today? Certainly not what it was intended to stand for. Now we stand for evangelical ignorance and prejudice, cruelty, greed, materialism, suffering, self love.
I hope I graduate with top honors from clark. I want to be armed with the best education possible when i go up against this crap. its going to be tough.

I've been finding a lot of critiques of the US in my rovings...go to http://the-debaser.blogspot.com. He's a good read (I think). And I so totally agree with you on the dissappointment with our wonderful country; why else would I be going into constitutional law?
